Simply put, either Flexispy had insiders rate the software four or five stars, or the company Vervata (http://www.vervata.com/) has all but stopped further development on the program. Being that I and many others like me have had multiple problems with lack of customer service and lack of resolution, if you waste your money on this product, you are a damn fool. If you absolutely want to spend money for no logical reason, send it to me, or better yet, throw it out the window while driving down the road. It'll be better served by throwing it out the window than sending it to Flexispy. - Bob

For the past two weeks, Flexispy has not worked properly. We have been told they are upgrading their system and at first were told 24 to 48 hours. Then we were told it would take a week. Now we have been told "next week sometime." This is totally unacceptable!! This has been showing up on their login site TEN days ago. Important Notice To All Customers: "We apologize for the inconvenience, our servers are currently under unusually high load. You may temporarily have slower response times or difficulties logging in or receiving updates. To view media files such as Photo, Audio, Video, RemCam, Ambient Recording, Call Recording prior to April 10, please login at portal2.flexispy.com This message will be removed when normal activity resumes. Thank you for your patience." Save your money! This software does NOT deliver as promised! - Andi

I have used Flexispy for about 6 weeks and it works about 70% of the time. I only use it track location, SMS and phone calls so the Android is not rooted. They do have live support and they are very nice but they usually can't fix your problem. They tell you to turn the target phone off and on (hard to do when it's over 100 miles away) and wait 2 or 3 hours and try again. It usually starts working in a day or so, but right now it's been down for awhile so I'm not real hopeful. It has been very frustrating but supposedly, this is the best that's out there. I am using this on a work phone and the person knows they're being monitored but it doesn't help when I have to call them to turn the phone off and on so they know it's not working properly. I wish someone could come up with a reliable phone tracking system for businesses - who cares if the app shows up on the phone? - Andrea

Well, i've read all the posts here, i've read a lot of reviews online about various software solutions. From those reviews, i'd say flexi always had the best reviewies. That's why i decided to purchase it myself. Oh how i was fooled. Hardly anything works with this software. I don't know who uses this that it gave such great reviews, but it could not be further from the truth. I'm reviewing from an unrooted android 4.4.2 Let's start. Control panel. All commands are synced with the phone on a minimum 1 hour difference. There's a "send immediate" action however, that does not work, ever. There are ways to do this by sms, however, on unrooted 4.4.2 android the sms shows on target phone so that's out of the question because you haveto have the phone in your hand to send the sms. The changes you make then go into the "pending commands" folder. Which would be great since you see what commands you sent, and when they've been processed, but alas, these tend to get stuck, and don't get sent to phone for hours, even days, and you have to push it with an sms. That would still be somewhat acceptable IF THEY WORKED. Over the course of 7 days, i've had to issue SAME commands several times for them to be finally accepted by the phone. They usually get accepted after 2 or 3 tries, never from the first try. Then there's features that are advertised ,but clearly don't work. Like phone call recordings. I've had to contact support 4 times to be told 4 different things i had to set in my control panel (some have no relation to call recording but ok). AFter i've finally managed to do that and the phone to accept it in the span of 4 days, i'm told by support that "there's a glitch and these won't work for some time, wait at least 2 weeks for new version for this to be corrected". It's clear this did not work from the getgo, but i've been given the runaround from the support. Then there's pictures/videos to be uploaded. Videos are not shown even a screencap, just "video of this and this size" thats it. If it's not automaticaly uploaded, at least post the screencap to see what's it about. This way you have to manually click on every video "GET VIDEO" to even see what's it about. Some can't even be uploaded if they're larger (this was nowhere advertised). The pictures are screencaps, but they're such small versions of the real pictures that it's laughable, but ok, i could live with that since you see a small thumbnail of the picture so you could get those you want in fullsize. Then there's the Wifi vs GSM data transfer. I've set it only to wifi because i don't want to drain the GSM plan data. For that i've gotten, AT BEST, 1 connection a day from phone to server, which is ridiculous because the wifi at my home is constanly available, the phone is present in the home at least 3-4 times a day for as long as 7 hours during the day, and whole night. Why is it not connecting it's not known. The best answer i could got about that is "switch to data" which is ludacris. Also, am told the phone doesn't send anything if it's not actually ON. On as in you have to be working on it. As soon as the dim screen appears, phone stops sending data. Which is another ludacris thing. The whole issue about it being stealth is that it should send data when it's not used. Oh and, there's no option to set some things to be sent over wifi, some over gsm data. You either use gsm or wifi, which is stupid. A feature that offers call log, sms for gsm data and wifi for larger packages like pictures/videos would be beneficial and very useful. But alas, that's also not available. Only thing that i could think this software would be good about is the hidng of the phone beeing rooted, but alas, i have not rooted mine and did not check this feature. I have no doubt there would be some other things that would fail with it again. Very very dissapointed. Reviewers gave it excelent reviews, but i feel it's all marketing. I can't believe no one encountered these problems. Overall rating is 2 out of 10. - mark

Beware that Flexispy (either version) does not record any text messages over 140 characters. It will pick up MMS but only with a video or picture. It not only doesn't show the long text; it doesn't even show one has been sent or received. I also cannot get the Website activity to work although I doubled checked that browsing wasn't been done incognito. Stealthgenie was a better product and cheaper. My target knows his cell is being monitored and we own the phone so that is not a problem. - Andrea

Very nice application. Works really well, have a ton of useful features, user-friendly, and very stealthy. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mobile spy application. I think this is the most popular stealth app, as of the moment (2013) - Ahmed Faradin

This is the first spy application I've ever used but let me give you my experience thus far in 7 days. My guess is that these sort of apps are really tricky and I'm sure that Flexispy is doing the best they can to keep up with the changes from iPhone, Android etc... I currently am monitoring an iPhone 4. Please note, I have not set up customized SMS yet and only rely on automatic updates at this point. 1) My events/updates on my web account update every 4-5 hours only. Support suggested it might be a weak signal from the target phone. Granted the target phone is indoors from morning to mid afternoon, but the phone has a strong signal even in underground parking. 2) In order to get a more prompt update, you have to SMS the phone you're monitoring with a text which they will read. I did not know this prior to purchasing. Thing is, the target is not accustomed to receiving random SMS messages from me so this will be tricky. 3) The GPS does not work very well, updates come to you hours later, the web account GPS tracking does not work well either. It showed a drive the target phone took this week, I had to clear the entire web log of SMS, emails, etc to get it to start fresh. Not convenient. 4) The web account site could use a bit of improvement. For example, the old messages usually sit on top, this should be reversed. Also, clicking on certain tabs (like 'Call') will prompt you to have to login again. This happened to me quite a bit this week. 5) Email updates does not work well, I've got one update in 8 days so far but I know there are dozens of emails in there. 6) I haven't seen a single Whatsapp or Facebook update, I'm guessing this has to be turned on or customized? Again, I'll keep you all updated, hopefully the automatic events/updates improves but i doubt it. Looks like I'll be sending out a lot of SMS messages. - DeanBillings

After getting my refund from Mobile Spy, I turned to FlexiSPY Omni. I was discouraged at first by the higher price, and by the fact that I could monitor only one phone for the listed charge. That isn't a problem if a person is spying on a spouse's phone, but many families have more than one child, so an option to monitor multiple phones would increase FlexiSPY's overall appeal to parents. FlexiSPY does not offer some of the features that Mobile Spy does. It would be nice to see FlexiSPY add monitoring of websites and photos. The Facebook Messenger monitoring doesn't work for some reason. I saw a similar comment in another review on this site. In spite of these limitations, I have found FlexiSPY to be much more reliable and I love the Spy Call and Call Intercept features (not offered by Mobile Spy). Both of these work perfectly. FlexiRecord also works remarkably well, and I often let it run throughout the night, especially if my daughter is staying overnight at a friend's house for instance. I like being able to know that the calls she makes are recorded. FlexiRecord does tie up another smart phone, which I don't care for. Both Flexispy and Mobile Spy are very discreet once installed, but neither is easily installed on the target phone without troubleshooting after the installation, sometimes going on for several days. I'm not sure how that would be possible when trying to monitor a spouse's phone discreetly for instance, but it works with children's phones if you are being up front about the monitoring. When using SpyCall you have to be sure to keep pressing the mute button after dialing the target number. If you don't get the call muted ASAP you can be heard and the person you are monitoring is aware that someone is listening. I have no complaints about FlexiSPY's functionality. It works just as described, without issue. The monitoring website is easy to use and I especially like the GPS tracking feature, which shows me an animated "trail" of where my daughter has been for a given time period. It is quite accurate as long as the phone's GPS setting is turned on. FlexiSPY's support is more than adequate. The installation and help videos are excellent. I do wish there was a phone number for tech support, but the live chat works reasonably well, especially late at night when there are fewer people being helped. Response times can be somewhat slow during the day. I had some excellent sessions with the techs and they were determined to find a solution to any problems I encountered. I did have a compatability issue with my Samsung Galaxy S4 Blaze. FlexiSPY ran perfectly on the phone, but would not communicate the data to the server so I could view the logs online. All the features worked well however including Spy Call, Spy Intercept, and FlexiRecord. There were no issues whatsoever with my Samsung Exhibit 4G. FlexiSPY runs perfectly on it. In conclusion, even though Mobile Spy offers arguably more features than FlexiSPY at a lower price, it does not deliver the goods. FlexiSPY, in my opinion, is worth the extra money because it delivers peace of mind, works just as promised, and if there are any issues, tech support will help get them ironed out as quickly as possible. I do think FlexiSPY is, right now, more suitable to catching a cheating boyfriend or girlfriend, but adding some additional features like website checks and photo monitoring would easily make it a parent's best friend. Right now, in spite of limitations, I think it is the best option out there for parents who want to be responsible and monitor their childrens' phones. - rebeccapeabody

Bought it...couldn't get it to work on the target phone. Didn't have much time to work with support to get it working. Can't recommend it. - Jimmy B.

I bought flexispy for my now ex-fiance's Blackberry Curve. I realize it was illegal for me to install it on his phone, but I was desperate and willing to accept the consequences on the remote chance I would be caught. Once I managed to get the spy software installed i was SHOCKED with all the information I was able to get from it. Maybe I was more then a bit suspicious of this thing actually working, but not only did it actually work, it worked beyond my wildest expectations. If I had never used this software, I would most likely have ended up making the biggest mistake of my life, and marrying someone who just turned out to be a nightmare. - Jenny F.

I don't really have much to add other than I am quite happy with Flexyspy. I had a few complications installing it, but this was likely due to me not really understanding how to install phone software in general. Once I finally did get it installed and set-up, I have been able to monitor the person that I wanted to. I went with the cheapest version... "FlexiSpy Light" and actually wish I would have spent a little more and gone with the more expensive version because I really want to listen to this person's conversations. I would rate Flexispy a buy. - Lil

I purchased the Blackberry spy software from Flexispy and was impressed despite my initial skepticism and was pleasantly surprised that it actually worked. I haven't tried any of the other software, but aside from the price I would definitely recommend Flexispy. - Andy D.

I really wish I'd found this website earlier. I tried eStealth and Big Daddy (neither one worked !@$@#$*). I was trying to avoid installing anything on her phone directly and use blue tooth, but I just couldn't get it to work, and support was non-existent, but Flexispy worked right away. Yeah, it is more expensive, probably a bit too expensive, but I would rather pay double the price for something that works than something that absolutely does not like that esucks program. - Bob J.

I have been a very happy FlexiSPY BlackBerry user for the past several months, and I have to say I am pretty happy so far. If anyone is thinking of buying software from FlexiSPY, do not hesitate because their software works exactly as advertised. If you compare the features like I have, FlexiSPY spy phone software comes out on top (well, ok, it's about the same as Spyera, but the support seemed more reliable. I haven't installed any other cell phone spy software, but this one was a breeze, and customer support for FlexiSPY was rock solid. They answered all my questions within 24 hours. One of the big features that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere is the remote un-install feature. This is a BIG DEAL!!! Once you get the info you need, you have to remove any trace of the software, and as far as I could tell only FlexiSPY has this. (editorial note: it is not) I have to say I'm a happy customer because I got what I wanted, which is kind of rare these days when buying software online. - Clive C.

In the few days that I've been using this software, it has delivered everything I wanted from it. The coolest thing is being able to see all the text messages my gf sent out. I know that not everyone agrees with this kind of use for spy software, but she has been busted by me twice before, and she has promised me to never do it again. So before we get married i gotta know for sure. I think anyone who is looking for quality spy software for a Blackberry phone would be very happy with this product. - Al

I purchased Flexispy for my girlfriend's BlackBerry cell phone a few days ago. Here's a little mini-review. The version I got was the cheapest one, called FlexiSpy Light (Basic seemed like it was only for iPhone). Installation was a lot easier than I thought it would be, but trying to configure it actually took some time, although I did get it to work after an hour or two. I never got a chance to contact their support department because the instructions they gave me were all i needed to get the software to work. So far I'd have to say it's been a good experience. - Conrad

We first bought the FlexiSpy Spyphone Software to keep tabs on our teenage daughter so we could make sure she wasn't keeping company with the wrong people or doing drugs. It turned out she wasn't doing anything we didn't approve of, but suprisingly the software there were other benefits like getting some insight into some of the problems she has been facing from peer pressure which helped us communicate better with her. - Andy & Lisa

I seriously thought about hiring a Private Investigator to follow my husband when i thought he might be cheating, but it was going to cost over 4K for just one week! A friend told me about the FlexiSpy spyphone Software. I had absolutely no idea about spy phone software before before buying FlexiSpy Pro-X, but I was really amazed that it not only allowed me to track his location, but to listen to his phone calls and view all his SMS's! Now I know everything and although I'm more then a little pissed at that cheating bastard I'd have to say the spy software worked as advertised. - Angry Jane

While Flexispy Light has some good features, their customer service seems kinda slow. They have live chat support, but I chose to use the ticketing system for some help instead. The flexispy spyphone software eventually worked as advertised, but it seemed a little buggy at first. - Frank X
